The Opposition Parties have demanded of the government to immediately call off the continued military operation in Balochistan and announce general amnesty for the resisting forces to restore peace in the province here, on Saturday.
In their press statements Chief of Pakistan Seraiki party, Barrister Taj Muhammad Khan Langah, MNA, Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, MNA, Begum Nasim Chaudhry, MNA, Malik Liaquat Ali Dogar, former Senator, Malik Rafiq Rajwana vehemently condemned the kidnapping of brothers of Shahid Bugti and Senator Sanaullah Baloch, they demanded provincial autonomy to alleviate the deprivation and to address plight of the Baloch people.
The government was ignoring people of the province in Gwadar development projects. Injustices to them should be stopped, they added. They said that there were open human rights and constitution violations in the province. He demanded that kidnappers and abductees should be produced before the court with evidences and said that the solution of Balochistan lies in peaceful process of dialogue and military operation or use of force against the innocent people could not be the ultimate solution of the issue.
The lawmakers were of the view that there would be no logical conclusion of the ongoing military operation in Balochistan, thus the government should halt the use of force in the larger national interest. They also called for implementing the recommendations of parliamentary committee led by Mushahid Hussain Syed with letter and sprit.
