The pension benefits since 1995 continue as such without any respite. I wonder if this matter is reviewed in perspective of the ground conditions and in relation to the generous pervasive salary structure and its consequential correlation with the retirement benefits in the contemporary times.
Recently there has been a mention in the federal budget about some hike in pension benefits and as a consequence thereof I hope that those who served in one of the most prestigious institution like UBL now under the aegis of the government would also benefit. It would indeed be gracious on your part if you could kindly intercede in this matter, which would help give some recognition to those who served this institution, a crown jewel amongst financial entities in the yonder years, are now in their twilight days.
The veterans don't look up for pennies from heaven but while on earth we expect respect and recognition, from our successors to patch the mantle of monthly pension, which is scarred with virulence of price hike and inflation etc short of looking like a beggar's cloak. I trust you would take some time out to redress this imbalance in the crucible of equity and justice.
