Gas supply has been suspended to several cities of Punjab province after two gas pipelines were ruptured in a explosion near Sui on Saturday, said SNGPL general manager Ali Hassan. Engr Majid Latif, who was doing work at the site, said the explosion occurred near Doli check post at about 4am.
Rangers and levies cordoned off the area to investigate the incident. Gas supply was suspended to Sadiqabad, Rahimyar Khan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Muzaffargarh and other cities.
