Ruling Pakistan Muslim League is divided into three factions over the issue of bringing no-confidence motion against pro-PPP District Nazim, Abdul Qayyum Jatoi and nomination of a new district nazim for Muzaffargarh.
Every faction wants to bring its own-backed candidate as district nazim and some of them had under hand dealing with the sitting district nazim. If a PML group nominates it's candidate two party's rival groups would oppose it and extend their support to the sitting district nazim. Veteran politician Sardar Amjad Hameed Dasti MPA is trying to make no-trust motion against District Nazim Sardar Qayyum Jatoi successful.
However, he refused to support former district nazim Sultan Mehmood Hinjra, as he has many reservations about his candidature. Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he realised that he was opposing Qayyum Jatoi because he had contested against his daughter, who was the nominee for the district nazim office by Punjab chief minister.
Siting District Nazim Qayyuum Jatoi claimed that he was still enjoying the support of 80 out of total 122 members in the house.
