A member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has requested the President of Pakistan to announce celebrations of Independence Day in a simple but impressive manner.
In a letter to President General Pervez Musharraf, bar member M.D. Tahir said this year we must celebrate Independence Day with simplicity to express solidarity with the people of Lebanon who are facing Israeli aggression. He also requested the President to announce support for Hezbollah and send money to them for the purchase of arms.
