Traders and shopkeepers on Wednesday staged a demonstration to condemn the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and the massacre of the Palestinians. All Pakistan Traders Alliance and the Markazi Anjuman Tajiran organised the demonstration.
They were shouting slogans including, 'Down with America', 'Down with Israel', 'Save Lebanon', 'Save Children', 'Stop Bombing Localities'. They express solidarity with Lebanese people and vehemently condemn Israeli aggression and its supporters.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of All Pakistan Traders Alliance Khwaja Shafiq criticised the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) for its failure to take any practical measures to stop the Israeli aggression against innocent people of Lebanon. He termed the body an irrelevant entity, as it was serving the US agenda and being governed by the US stooge rulers of Muslim states.
