Bilal Sheikh has taken over as President & CEO, Mybank Limited. Until recently, he was the chief executive of Picic Commercial Bank where he served since the acquisition of Gulf Commercial Bank by Picic in February 2001.
Bilal Sheikh has a rich banking career, spread over 39 years starting from Muslim Commercial Bank in 1967. He held senior positions in MCB, two foreign banks and Picic as deputy managing director. He was also chairman NDFC and RDFC prior to his appointment as president of Picic Commercial Bank.
During his tenure, Picic Commercial Bank showed remarkable performance depicting a record growth in deposits, profitability, increase in number of branches, etc. He is a Fellow of Institute of Bankers, Pakistan.-PR
