PU and Balochistan University sign MoU

With a view to introducing linkages between the University of Punjab and University of Balochistan for multi-disciplinary education, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed here on Monday.
Ghulam Muhammad Taj, vice-chancellor, University of Balochistan and Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd), vice-chancellor, University of Punjab signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Arshad Mahmood said on the occasion that linkages amongst organisations and professionals were becoming more important for national growth and development in the increasing globalisation.
He said that in increasing complex society of Pakistan, multi-disciplinary research and integrated planning was a need of the hour, hence educational institutions must strive hard to promote their integration at cognitive, planning and implementation levels.
