Four of a family were killed when a three-storey house collapsed in the walled area here at Akbari gate in the early hours of Monday. Those who died were identified as Shamim Bibi, Munawar Bibi, Mahnoor and Afshan.
According to the details, Nawaz Qadri's wife Shamim Bibi, daughter Afshan (8) and infant Mahnoor had gone to Munawar Bibi's residence at Akbari gate. They were sleeping when the old house collapsed resulting into their deaths. People with the help of fire brigade and rescue staff got recovered the bodies from the debris after hectic efforts of five hours.
