Capital City Police have claimed the resolution of the mystery of the missing Deputy Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Mohammad Younas after confession of his son that he has killed his father, said a press release issued here on Thursday.
The mystery was solved in the wake of investigation into the case by a special team constituted by the Chief Capital City Police Habib-ur-Rehman. According to the police, the complainant Faisal Mehmood, son of the deceased SBP official, resident of Doong, Abbottabad, was persistently in contact with them.
The police was suspicious of the Faisal's involvement in the case and after receiving some clues during the investigation, the complainant was also interrogated, who unveiled the real story, saying he had prepared the planning of the murder of his father with a person namely Asadullah.
For completion of the plan, Faisal paid Rs 0.8 million to professional killers namely Ikramullah, Irfan and Ali residents of Regi and paid Rs75,000 in advance to them and purchase a 30-bore pistol along with a silencer for this purpose.
On June 30, 2006 Faisal brought all the accused and placed them in the guest-room of his house. At 11:00 pm they killed his father and the very next day threw away the corpse on G.T. Road near Pabbi.
The police after recovering the corpse registered a case under section 302 in Police Station Pabbi. All accused have been arrested while the pistol with silencer used in the murder was recovered from the possession of Faisal.-PR
