Federal Minister for Water and Power Liaquat Ali Jatoi told the National Assembly on Thursday that rupees three billion would be spent in Balochistan for provision of electricity to Dadu and Khuzdar.
Replying to a question of Bilqees Saif, regarding provision of electricity from Dera Ismail Khan to Balochistan, he said it was not applicable, while electricity would be provided from Dera Ghazi Khan.
Jatoi said his ministry had approved rupees one billion from the ECC for provision of electricity to villages in the province and Rs 38 billion for renovation and upgradation of grid stations in Balochistan.
