Jordan's state grains buyer has issued an international tender to purchase 100,000 tonnes of feed barley, European traders said on Monday. Origin was optional. Some 50,000 tonnes was for shipment in the first half of October and 50,000 in the second half of October.
The bidding deadline was September 13. In its previous barley tender on August 2, Jordan purchased 100,000 tonnes at $148.30 a tonne c&f. The seller had the option of souring from Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union or elsewhere in Europe.
