Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi expressed happiness over the operationalizing and termed the manufacturing of small arms a potential sector of the province and its adjacent tribal region.

He said that the resolution of the problems of the sector would help increase exports of the country.

He said that the problems of the company were given priority in resolution. However, he said that nine other such public sector companies established with the financial assistance of Rs.4 billion working under the supervision of Pakistan Industrial Development Company (PIDC) were in deficit and they are also required to stand on their own feet like PHSADC.

The federal minister said that the management of the company has given commitment that the operationalizing of the CFTC will make it self-sufficient and sustainable. He said that machinery has been arrived and installed and now they should have to on its own feet.

He said that hunting & sporting, furniture and gemstone sectors are potential sectors and after assuming the charge of the ministry he pledged support of potential sectors companies and merging of the deficit one.

Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi was of the view that the manufacturing of hunting and sporting arms is the oldest industry and the installation of the machinery will bring improvement in it. He said that instead of copying they should now concentrate on the manufacturing of quality products.

Speaking about China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said its fruits will be ushered in the whole country. He said that after the establishment of economic zones it will bring sufficient industries as duties on the import machineries have been waived off to usher industrial revolution in the country.

He said that after the establishment of industrial zones, some industries from Peoples' Republic of China will also shift to Pakistan. He said that after the announcement of new auto policy several foreign companies are showing interest in making investment in the installation of agriculture sector machinery units. He said that FIAT is also interested in the installation of its full pledge plant.

He said that they want industrialization across the country to generate employment opportunities. He said that the government is ready to talk for the resolution of any problem relating to CPEC, saying problems relating to the development of the country will be resolved by making collective efforts.
