Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD) Chairman, Makhdoom Amin Fahim rejected the rumours that PPPP or PML-N were entering into some dialogue with the present government. While chairing a meeting of the Alliance here on Wednesday, he termed these all as rumours to create dents in opposition.
Fahim ruled out the possibility of any general alliance and said that the opposition was already playing a substantive role in this regard. Talking about rendering of resignations by the opposition legislators from the assemblies, Amin Fahim said whenever they (opposition) saw the time ripe they would render their resignations.
Manzoor Geelani, senior leader of the Alliance speaking on the occasion strongly criticised the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) for its undemocratic role in strengthening the present government and said the MMA was playing its dubious role on 17th Amendment.
He said it was unfortunate that MMA after the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti was still sitting in the assembly. He said all the decisions against present government would be taken on the platform of ARD only.
