The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued status quo orders in a petition filed by a school teacher Rubina Kausar challenging her transfer orders. The court observed that if the petitioner has not yet relinquished her charge she will continue to hold the office.
It was contended by the petitioner that she was transferred despite ban on transfers and postings. It was also contended that the respondent MNA has got her transferred because her brother is counsel in an election petition against him.
