District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), Muhammad Hussain Syed has directed all taluka municipal officers (TMOs) to get all the post rain problems solved by the end of this week so that the people may not face any difficulty, especially during the Eid congregations at Eidgahs and their visits to different graveyards.
This he directed while holding a meeting with all the TMOs of the district and other concerned officers at his camp office on Sunday. The DCO said that though work was going on to resolve post rain problems, still there were some Eidgahs and graveyards, where rehabilitation work was urgently required as arrival of Eidul Fitre was at short distance.
He directed the TMOs to ensure draining process and earth filling at the public places on priority basis. He directed Wasa managing director to ensure uninterrupted water supply and drainage system during the Eid celebrations. He said that the quantity of reserved water be enhanced because the consumption of water would be increased on the eve of Eid celebration as compared to usual demand.
The DCO also directed the TMOs to ensure cleanliness and remove all hurdles, creating traffic problems on the roads. He also stressed upon the Hesco management and other utility departments for their uninterrupted and efficient deliveries to the citizens.
