The construction of additional arts faculty classes of University of Sindh completed while remaining ongoing work of classes and auditorium would be completed during the next month. The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Mazharul Haq Siddiqui inaugurated the new classes here on Tuesday.
Deans of the faculties, heads of teaching institutes, registrar M Saleh Rajar, faculty members and students were present on the occasion.
Under the dire need of more classes for various departments located at arts faculty building due to increasing number in enrolment of students every year, on proposal of the University, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) while approving extension of arts faculty building, in its eastern wing at first floor for construction of new classes allocated Rs 12.275 million for the construction of classes at area of 18400sq ft.
The Project Director of engineering wing Ishrat informed the Vice Chancellor that the remaining construction work of classes would be completed during the next month.
