The three leading companies IBM, Oracle and I-flex have announced their collaboration on providing banking solutions and launched a strong banking software of I-flex 'FLEXCUBE' for core banking to further expand their services and support.
The banking collaboration will combine the business and IT architectural leadership of IBM in banks, banking-specific application solutions from Oracle(r), and core banking and risk solutions from I-flex.
According to a press release received from Oracle here on Wednesday, the three leading companies IBM, Oracle and I-flex have bonded to collaborate with each other to provide joint banking customers with infrastructure, services, and support for enterprise applications, core banking, and risk management. It is presumed that this combination would be of great help to the banks, using proven market-leading solutions in CRM like, Core Transaction Processing, Risk, Analytic and Corporate Operations to translate a bank's business strategies into execution in a timely and effective manner.
The companies announced the launch of I-flex's powerful retail banking product, FLEXCUBE, on the IBM System - mainframe platform, delivering world-class performance, reliability and security that banks require. Under the companies' banking alliance, IBM plans to expand its services with Oracle and I-flex to help ensure unparalleled integration and support for IBM platforms.
