The Karachi Port handled 142,651 tonnes of cargo including 110,402 tonnes import, 32.249 tonnes export cargo and 5,116 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 80,301 tonnes dry cargo including 65,301 tonnes general cargo; 15,000 tonnes bulk cargo and 62,350 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
One ship namely Hyundai Future sailed out to sea during the report period. Sixteen vessels viz Lalazar, SC Fortitude, Mesaieed, Antoine, Energy Ranger, Taikoon, National Dignity, Iran Kordestan, New Vega, Agios Nectarious-1, Iran Shahryar, Mega-II, Pearl, Zhen Hua-16, Gulf Bridge and YM Star are currently at the berths.
One vessel viz Mac Andrews due to arrive on Friday, while one ship namely Swala MOL Silverfern due to arrive on Saturday. Four ships namely Iran Tabatabael, Diagonis, Miami, and Thor Sofia are due to arrive on Sunday.
The cargo comprised of 32,450 tonnes HSD Oil; 6,670 tonnes edible oil; 1,296 tonnes sugar; 6,990 tonnes iron ore; and 17,204 tonnes containerised cargo. One ship namely Nilgai sailed out to sea during the report period, during last 24 hours.
Two vessels viz MV Serife and San Clemente are expected to sail on Friday.
A total of eleven vessels viz DD Master, Captain George-L, Al-Marwah, Liberty Grace, Chepstaw, Al-Wajba, Samho Heron, Ilexandra, San Clemente, Nikos, and Antte Kosan are currently at the outer anchorage. Four ships namely Al-Wajba, San Clemente, Captain George-L and Samho Heron due to take berths on Friday.
