Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Vice Chairman and former National Assembly Speaker Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that elections alliance is possible with Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Talking to NNI on Friday, Yousaf Raza did not rule out elections alliance with the PML (N) though the parties have separate manifesto, adding that the opposition parties agreed on one-point agenda to restore democracy and 1973 constitution in the country.
He pointed out that the PPPP would support the opposition decision to launch anti-government movement after Eid. To a question, Yousaf Raza said the two-party system was smoothly working but the dictator abolished this system.
He held President Pervez Musharraf responsible for disorder in the country and demanded to hold free and fair elections and hand over power to elected representative. The NA former speaker termed the PPPP deal with the government as part of disinformation and did not comment on it.
