Adding a further four days to the review, the PCB tribunal headed by Barrister Shahid Hamid summoned Pakistan cricket team coach Bob Woolmer, physio Darren Lifsun and trainer Murray Stevenson to record their statements on November 01 (Wednesday) in connection with doping inquiry against Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif.
Earlier the tribunal took three hours to complete the hearing and recorded the statements of Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif. Other members of the tribunal Dr Waqar Ahmed and Intikhab Alam were also present in the hearing.
Shoaib Akhter and Muhammad Asif attended the hearing along with Dr Noman Niaz. After the hearing, Shahid Hamid told newsmen that recommendations of the tribunal would be submitted by Thursday (November 02) after recording statements of the team coach, physiotherapist and trainer. He said that the tribunal also took the views of two sports medicine experts Professor Javaid Akram and Dr Abbas Raza.
