The State Bank of Pakistan said it would auction Rs 20 billion ($329.5 million) worth of three-, six- and 12-month Treasury Bills on Wednesday.
Settlement of the auction would be done on Friday, as Thursday is a public holiday, the State Bank said in a statement. At the last T-bill auction on October 27, the central bank sold Rs 7.66 billion of its benchmark six-month bills at cut-off and weighted average annual yields of 8.8142 percent.
At the same auction, it sold Rs 196.1 million of three-month bills, and Rs 13.76 billion of the 12-month paper. The cut-off and weighted average yields on the three-month T-bills were then set at 8.6417 percent, while for the 12-month paper, both the yields came at 9.0046 percent.
