Tharparkar sugar mills starts issuing indents

The Tharparkar Sugar Mills has started issuing indents to the sugarcane growers from Tuesday, as it plans to begin crushing on November 11. Deputy General Manager of the mills, Ali Ahmed Chandio told PPI on Tuesday that all the arrangements have been finalised to commence the crushing.
"The machinery, got repaired from London, is being installed and by afternoon of November 11, the crushing would start," he told adding that an inaugural ceremony would be held on this occasion. DGM said that the growers have also started cutting the crop in Mirpur Khas district and the mills were buying the sugarcane.
