Dubai government-owned Emirates, the largest Arab airline, said on Wednesday it will start offering passengers mobile phone services on long-haul flights from January 1. Britain-based AeroMobile will provide the technology, a spokeswoman for Emirates said in Dubai.
The service will be available on one Boeing Co 777 aircraft as early as January, AeroMobile said in a statement on its Web site.
