ANP's provincial Chief Bashir Ahmad Bilour condemning the killing of 42 army recruits said on Thursday the federal minister for interior should accept his failure and resign of the job to set an example in the country.
"it is failure of federal government therefore, accepting the inability the federal interior minister should tender resignations to set a trend in Pakistan like India, where it is an set example" the ANP provincial chief said while addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club.
Welcoming the PPPP and JI's workers and office-bearers of Kashkal Union council ward-24 quitted and joined ANP, Bashir Ahmad Bilour said since they were not satisfied with the performance of MMA government therefore, they joined ANP.
He said MMA had played a game with the masses of the province. People would no more trusting the alliance. "MMA is now planned to bring Hasba bill
on November 13 in the House however, it would not help them to restore their image," he observed.
The nationalist Bilour said fate of the Hasba bill would no more be changed than Shariat Bill however, ANP would resist the bill inside the NWFP Assembly, which is on its agenda for November 13. "Federal government would also not allow implementing the Hasba bill, through which MMA aimed for employing the clerics," he opined.
He said law and order situation had so deteriorated that the military bases were also not safe. He strongly condemned the Dargai suicide blast and said that whosoever did it was condemnable. However, the government was responsible for the tragic incident, due to its wrong policies.
He said that Pakistan was on the verge of becoming a failed state, as no state pillars including judiciary and parliament was independent, except the media to some extent. He said that parliament had become a rubber stamp, while the judiciary and executive had been forced to validate every illegal act of the rulers. He said that the inflation and unemployment had made the lives of the masses miserable; on the other hand an individual had made hostage all the national institutions.
About participation in MMA's scheduled all parties' conference on November 19, he said if they were invited, they would participate in it.
However, he added, that all Pakhtuns peace jirga was first called by ANP, therefore, they should support it.
