I express deep regret and strongly protest at KESC step to charge Rs 8.00 as bank charges from the consumers. My simple question is who is the responsible authority to approve this charge from the consumers directly instead when KESC was itself paying the banks after the collection of their power bills.
I request the Power Minister to withdraw the current bank charges which are a burden on the common man. Following KESC practice other utility services, such Wapda, PTCL and Sui Gas will not lag behind. Soon they will also enforce certain amount on account of bank charges from consumers.
Immediate notice will put pressure on KESC to withdraw their decision which will be a good move, but the question is who has the strength to take notice of this unfair practice.
