Three CBR members given double-pay package

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has given double-pay package to three Board Members from November 1, 2006. Those who will get the special pay package are: CBR Member Direct Taxes Salman Nabi (BS-21); Member Sales Tax Ms Mussarat Jabeen (BS-21); and Member Customs Shahid Rahim Sheikh (BS-20).
These top CBR officials have been selected for special allowance equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay through the process of Internal Job Posting (IJP). The CBR Chief Audit Lutfullah Virk has also been selected through the process of IJP for double-pay package.
Special pay package has also been given to Fateh Muhammad Sheikh, Director of Training, Customs, Sales Tax and Federal Excise, Karachi, and Muhammad Siddique, Additional Director, DOT, Karachi.
