Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has funded Fountain House here to establish "Royal Kingston Rehabilitation Centre" for extending free mental health rehabilitation facilities to the earthquake survivors.
In a ceremony held here on Friday, Shiraz Mirza, counsellor in Kingston UK, and Sara Butterfield, a known figure in rendering meritorious services in the field of fund-raising as a representative of National Health in the UK, presented the cheque to Fountain House Executive Director Professor Dr Haroon Rashid Chaudhry.
On the occasion, Sara Butterfield made a presentation on their fund-raising cycle ride covering 1,000 miles in 15 days for the establishment of "Royal Kingston Rehabilitation Centre" in Fountain House, Lahore. She said the Fountain House was capable of giving unique and effective rehabilitation services in the field of mental health.
