The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore and Nestle Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to impart training to master trainers under a project of the UNDP. Vice-chancellor of the university Dr Manzoor Ahmad and manager, UNDP's Project Management Unit signed the MoU, here on Monday.
Under the MoU, the UVAS in collaboration with Nestle Pakistan will train master trainers who will work in rural areas across the country for training and development of rural women as lady livestock workers. After getting training certificates from the UVAS, the master trainers will develop/train lady livestock workers in rural areas while UVAS will conduct their examination and issue certificate to them.
