Karachi is famous for its wide roads, but due to the recent surge in the number of vehicles even Karachi roads look narrow. Take the example of a very vital and VIP road in Karachi ie Shara-e-Faisal. It is found blocked many times in a day, especially at around 6 pm.
The importance of the road can be judged by the fact that all world dignitaries when come to Karachi pass through this road and it also gives the first impression of the country.
I suggest the present City Government Nazim, who is already working very hard for the improvement of the city, to start a project of widening of Shara-e-Faisal to atleast two more lanes on each side, thus catering to the needs of future! This project will also help in increasing the flow of traffic to and out of the airport!
