PBC nominates returning officer for SCBA polls

Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has nominated Syed Qalb-i-Abbas as returning officer for the re-elections of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) to be held on December 18. The PBC has also constituted a five-member supervisory committee headed by former judge Lahore High Court Gul Zareen Kiani.
The bar has decided to establish eight polling stations one each at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Bahawalpur Abbottabad and Islamabad. The bar announced that the vice-chairmen of the provincial bars will be the presiding officers at the principal seats of the high courts whereas presidents of the High Court bars will be the president officers of the respective bars.
