Pakistan Cleft Lip and Palate Association (PCLAPA) today announced the schedule for surgical operations of people from all over the country for providing them free medical facilities and undertaking surgery of patients suffering from the major disability of cleft lip and palate.
A team of internationally known specialist plastic and other surgeons includes British and British-based Pakistani doctors. The surgeries will be performed from February 23 to March 4 at the privately-run Bashir Hospital in Gujrat.
Patients can register themselves not later than February 23 with Dr Ijaz Bashir or the staff at Bashir Hospital, Railway Road, Gujrat.

The surgery cures and helps patients with a cut lip or palate, or both.
At sixteen surgery camps, organised so far, more than 6,000 patients were examined and treated, while more than 1,100 patients underwent surgery, with a 100 percent success rate, Dr Ijaz Bashir, Secretary General of PCLAPA said.
