'There has been a remarkable change witnessed in retail sector of Pakistan in the past three years'. This was stated by Hamesh Claire Daniel British Deputy High Commissioner and Director Trade and Investment Pakistan in a function here Tuesday.
Being chief guest at the arrival of 'NEXT plc' in Pakistan, he said that broadening relations between UK and Pakistan were reflected in the confidence of the people who enter into business with each other. Speaking about on going peace process between Indo-Pak, he averred that it had produced congenial atmosphere in the region.
Appreciating the high standard of NEXT Chains, Deputy High Commissioner stressed upon respecting local culture where they were operating upon while doing their business. Team A Ventures (PVT.) Ltd, which has been awarded the franchise for NEXT in Pakistan, has ambitious plans for the development of NEXT Stores countrywide. NEXT one of leading UK's fashion retailers currently operates 450 stores throughout UK and 134 stores across Europe and Asia.
Yasin Piracha and Saulat Ali of Team A Ventures spoke about NEXT in the function. They dilated that Team A Ventures was a venture of Gulsons Group, a vast enterprise of repute. Yasin Piracha managing Director Team-A Ventures averred that NEXT retail model was unique because of its innovative use of technology and replenishment that would always ensure that stocks they had in stores were the same that could be seen in any of NEXT stores world-wide. Speaking of Lahore store that was being opened, he told that it would be composed of three departments Men's Wear, Women's Wear and Children's wear.
