The total investment under Continuous Funding System (CFS) at the Karachi Stock Market grew by 12.7 percent to Rs 47.2 billion, on the last trading session of outgoing week as against Rs 41.88 billion on last Friday.
At the end of the rollover week, Rs 4.5 billion open interest was remained unsettled in January futures contract. Out of Rs 7.9 billion open interest on last Friday, Rs 3.5 billion or 44 percent worth of January contract was transferred to February futures. The cost of carrying stood at 6.25 percent versus 5.50 percent previously.
