The ongoing uplift projects being carried out across the city including bridges, flyovers, elevated expressway, IT Tower, underpasses, water and sewerage projects as well as upgrading of industrial areas etc will help boost the city's economic strength, he added. Kamal said that he had highlighted Karachi's soft image and the prevailing law and order situation during his visit, adding that city was facing similar problems those ware faced by other big cities of the world.
He also claimed that in the near future CDGK was expecting huge investment to take place in the city, particularly in the transfer of technology.
