NetSol Technologies Ltd, Pakistan has registered 129 percent growth to Rs 222.5 million during the second quarter of 2006-07 (October-December) compared with Rs 97.12 million of the corresponding period of the last year.
The company's gross profit has also increased by 201-percent to Rs 129.9 million in October-December 2006 against Rs 43.08 million in the same period of 2005. Cost of Sales has dropped down to 41.6-percent as compared to 55-percent in corresponding previous quarter.
Gross profit moved towards 58.3-percent compared to 44.4-percent in the corresponding quarter. Net profit margin approaches to 41.7-percent as compared to 9.6-percent in corresponding quarter. Earnings per share showing upward trend as it moved to Rs 2.61 per share as compared to Rs 0.26 per share in December 2005. Consolidated earning per share is Rs 2.82 for the 2nd quarter aggregating to Rs 4.13 for the half year ended December 31, 2006.
NetSol Technologies Ltd has recently secured three prestigious awards in the Annual Pakistan Software Houses Association (PSHA) ICT awards ceremony, which include Best IT/ITES Employer Award, Best E-Government and Services (Electronic Credit Information Bureau (eCIB) Award and Best Revenue Growth (Merit Award) Award.
Salim Ghauri, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NetSol Technologies Ltd, Pakistan said that the performance of NetSol has been extraordinary throughout the last two quarters and many business deals in pipeline were materialised during this period. Similarly, he added, NetSol has also been successful on local front and some important projects are initiated both with the Federal and the Punjab Government.
