Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd) has said that physical exercise is important for a better health because it helps the children to improve their intellectual capabilities along with being healthy and they also show excellent performance in education too.
He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony of annual sports day of University Laboratory High School here at New Campus on Friday. Arshad said that the standard of University Laboratory High School is increasing day by day and its better examination results and high performance in sports is a sign of its best quality in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Earlier School Principal Muhammad Ishfaq Chaudhry presented school annual report and told that the results of 8th and 10th class of the school is 100 percent and 80 percent.
