The Nadra in a bid to expand its Utility Bill Payment network and provide business opportunities to the citizens is franchising its kiosks, a press release from Nadra Headquarter said on Friday.
According to the release, Nadra will provide the kiosk machine against a reasonable security and operational and maintenance support whereas the franchisee will operate the machine. Both parties will share the cost as well as revenue. This plan will help the authority in outsourcing and expanding its kiosk operations. The franchise of kiosk is being offered to young educated youth as well as small businessmen in Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Subsequently, this scheme will be extended to other cities.
Besides all those small entrepreneurs running a store/shop where sufficient and suitable space is available to deploy Nadra kiosks are also eligible. Nadra's kiosks are gaining popularity among the masses since other modes of utility bill payment are either time consuming or out of reach of common man. These kiosks have been designed to have maximum graphics, enable even a layman to use the system conveniently, a touch screen is being designed that is very easy to operate by all sections of the society.-PR
