Irsa releases 109,432-cusec water from reservoirs

Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday released 109,432-cusec water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Saturday was at 72,432 cusec. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Saturday was at 1415 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 46 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 22,600 cusec while outflow was also 38,000 cusec. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1111 feet, which was 71 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 16,400 cusec while outflow was recorded at 38,000 cusec.
