The district nazims of Sindh will meet on March 12, 2007, Monday at Karachi to discuss and formulate strategy to get uninterrupted flow of funds for district governments under Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) Award.
Sardar Saleem Jan Khan Mazari District Nazim Kashmore who is also member of PFC as a representative of district governments, has convened the meeting and has urged the district Nazims & DCOs to attend the meeting.
District Nazim Kashmore said that under devolution plan, the district governments get money through PFC but there are certain issues to be taken up in PFC which include the timely and smooth flow of funding from province to district governments.
