Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) and Bank Alfalah Limited on Monday signed an agreement to facilitate consumers having credit cards of the bank concerned to pay their utility bills through online payment.
The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Pesco Brigadier Sakhi Majran and Area Manager (North) Bank Alfalah Limited Mirza Naeem Baig, Chief Engineer (Customer Services) Iqbal Ali Shah, Chief Engineer (Operation) Jehanzeb Khan, Chief Engineer (Technical) Nawaz Ali Khan and senior officers of Pesco and Bank Alfalah Ltd were also present on the occasion.
Chief Executive Pesco Brigadier Sakhi Marjan said that Pesco is taking all out efforts to facilitate its consumers and this agreement would be a milestone in the history of Pesco which would enable electricity consumers to pay their electricity bills with ease and dignity.
He told that all the banks in the jurisdiction of Pesco will collect electricity bills, and now the consumers will also become able to deposit their electricity bills round the clock through their Alfalah Credit Cards.
He said that these facilities would provide a customer friendly environment to the customers to pay their electricity bills and will provide an electronically secure authenticated bill collection system and they would also get rid to stand in long queues throughout the province.
