Partly Facetious: no matter if you don't like Bush's policy
Hugo Chavez doesn't like him either."
"Doesn't like who?"
"Bush."
"That's right but what do you mean either."
"Well, the majority of the world doesn't seem to like him."
"Unfortunately, the world leaders seem to."
"They don't like him, they just respect his power, or shall we say the power he exerts on behalf of the US."
"That we can relate to..."
"Who is we?"
"We, in Pakistan."
"How can you say that? The one with power is Musharraf, though he commands little following within the country."
"If there was a referendum..."
"Don't be facetious."
"But seriously I think what he is doing is what any other leader would have done too. Do you think BB or Nawaz Sharif could have challenged Bush at this point? Or not given unto Bush what Bush wanted."
"Well, no they wouldn't have."
"So frankly I don't know how their policies would have been different to what Musharraf is doing."
"Maybe in Balochistan..."
"Maybe, but Balochistan is a cauldron and..."
"And where there is a cauldron decisions are taken at GHQ in any case."
"Precisely!"
"What about action in Waziristan?"
"Same thing - BB and Nawaz Sharif would have taken us exactly where we are today - that's the will of Bush."
"I guess you are right."
