Punjab Fisheries department will spent Rs 11.428 million on enhancing productivity of 8 fish seed units in the province. Director General Fisheries Punjab Dr Muhammad Ayub said while unveiling the details of fish seed units working under aquaculture development projects in the province, here on Sunday.
He said that development works and water supply arrangements at ponds of these units will be completed under these projects.
Modern machinery is being provided to speed up the pace of uplift work, he added. The fish seed units have been set up at Fateh Jang (Attock), Kotli Arianan (Sialkot), Farooq-abad (Sheikhupura), Pir Mahal (Toba Tek Sing), Pirowal (Khanewal), Hasalpur (Bahawal-nagar), Shahpur (Sargodha) and Muzzafarghar.
