Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan might not be able to work again in India due to political tension between the two countries. However, Bollywood film fraternity and Indian fans can't get over him.
Fawad Khan, within very short span of time has managed to create much bigger space in the hearts of fans. Recently, 'Kapoor and Sons' director Shakun Batra too admired his craft and told an Indian daily that he misses him.
He said, "I miss him a lot. I dont know if I am supposed to be quiet about it. And I dont miss him because of any other things, I miss him simply because he is a great guy and he is a lovely collaborator. We Indians who work around the world, we do it legally, similarly, if somebody else wants to work legally in our country, it should be open. It should be a two-way street," Indian Express reported.
The film starring Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor was one of the most refreshing films of 2016. Fawad even received Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He had been applauded by many for breaking stereotype about portraying a gay character in the movie.
