The BRIndex30 recorded an intra-day high of 12,612.68 and low of 12,329.53. The volume amounted to 201,205,500, which was 82.77 percent of the total market and 96.39 percent of KSE-100 index. The volume of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 243,101,240 and 208,735,840 respectively.
BR Tech. & Comm. Index closed at 1,516.89 with a net upward change of 25.9 points or 1.74 percent. The volume of this sector was 7,872,000, which was the lowest among BRIndices.
BR Cement Index was the second most active sector with a turnover of 50,397,900. It closed at 1,508.14 with a net positive change of 18.37 or 1.23 percent. BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector with a turnover of 95,292,900. It closed at 5,194.17 with a net positive change of 120.55 or 2.38 percent.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,312.52 with an upward change of 4.71 or 0.36 percent. The turnover for this sector was 11,465,000. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,070.58 with a net positive change of 35.93 or 1.77 percent. The volume was 32,343,800.
