The lawyers' community observed its regular token strike here on Friday and boycotted the courts for one hour against the suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan. The bar members also held hunger strike camps in the bar premises.
Adliya Bachao Committee (ABC) also held hunger strike camp in the Lahore High Court bar premise. Senior bar members, office bearers of the bar and other political activists sat in the camp to express their solidarity with committee. The ABC convenor Abdul Rashid Qureshi, while welcoming the political and human rights activists at the camp, expressed his determination to continue the struggle against the suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan till the revival of his constitutional position.
