Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would not strike any deal with the government, neither it would make any deal regarding Musharraf without or with uniform for the next five years. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, PML-N Central Secretary Finance and MNA, expressed these views.
While addressing a PML-N protest rally outside Lahore Press Club on Monday. He said that his party believes in the fair process of elections and access to power corridors in a democratic way with the popular support of people.
"The PML-N would have reached a deal, if any, six years ago and now when the governments is losing ground, the PML-N would not make a political suicide by entering into a deal to give support to the unpopular and illegal government," he added.
He averred that those who are engaged in secret or open deal with the government are not serving the cause of democracy. He believed that the struggle of the PML-N and its allied parties would continue unabated for the independence of judiciary, rule of law, democracy and reinstatement of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.
