National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain has ruled out the possibilities of deal with any political party and termed it a sheer propaganda of self-styled leaders. Pakistan Muslim League was fully capable to contest general elections single handedly on the basis of its services rendered for the betterment of the masses, he said.
Talking to Business Recorder here on Monday at local rest house, he added that Pakistan Muslim League had not hoodwinked the masses because it believed in practical work. The Speaker said that National Assembly would complete constitutional tenure for the first time in the history of the country adding that all democratic institutions were functioning successful.
The speaker said that due to the effective economic policies of the government Pakistan had become an attractive hub of foreign investment and investors were continuously showing willingness of investment in various trade fields.
Chaudhry Amir Hussain said that some forces were trying hard to create chaos and sabotaging the peace, sectarian harmony and development process of the country.
Nobody would be allowed to take law in hand and create state within the state and Pakistan would not allow anybody to use its land for terrorist activities, he added. He said government was making strenuous efforts for purging the menace of terrorism aimed at making it terrorist-free state of the glob.
There is no room for extremism and terrorism in Islam because tolerance, brotherhood and peace were the fundamental principles of Islam, he added. Amir Hussain called upon the people to demonstrate complete unity among their ranks for foiling the evil designs of anti-state and anti-Islamic elements and extend full co-operation to the government for making the country free from the menace of terrorism and extremism and converting Pakistan into a enlightened state.
