The Karachi Port handled 96,358 tonnes cargo including 57,894 tonnes import, 38,464` tonnes export cargo and 4,629 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 92,848 tonnes dry cargo including 58,301 tonnes general cargo; 1,542 tonnes rice; 4,718 tonnes cement; 7,593 tonnes coal; 5,411 tonnes scrap; 10,816 tonnes clinkers; 4,457 tonnes wheat and 3,510 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Four ships namely Comorin Pride, Pac Antlia, Chemstar Brave and Stolt Ami sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Comorin Pride, Bao Qing Men, Haje Khereh, Chemstar Brave, Stolt Ami and B W Captain are currently at the berths. One ship namely Bao Qing Men expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Oel Esteem and Naftocement XI are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Five vessels viz Conti Esperance, Apl Brisbane, Lady Sama, Zhong Yang Men and Harmony due to arrive on Tuesday, while ten ships namely Lalazar, Al Ihsaa, Hyundai Advance, Iran Hesabi, Global Prosperity, Y M Energy, Pacific Arrow, Baglar Maya, B B England and Rickmere Doha are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 112,431 tonnes comprising 90,414 tonnes import and 22,017 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,897 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 40,145 tonnes furnace oil; 7,132 tonnes crude oil; 9,763 tonnes seeds; 17,513 tonnes coal; 5,629 tonnes cement and 32,249 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely C.V. Baghdad and C.V. Grasmere Maersk sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while container vessel Msc Don Glovanni is expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of six ships carrying furnace oil, chemicals, cement, iron ore and containers namely Chemstar Brave, Fifi Queen, Captain George-L, Fair Energy, Sima Paya and MS Zanzibar are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely C.V. Nedlloyd Europe, C.V. Sima Paya and M.V. Fifi Queen due to take berths at Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Tuesday. Four vessels viz M.V. Full Comfort, M.V. Noor-e-Mustafa, Keefan and M.T. Sitevera due to arrive on Tuesday, while another ship namely M.V. ACX Mimosa is due to arrive on Wednesday.
