Fresh buying spree in hot favourite moved the entire ready-board in upward direction at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE), on Wednesday where bulls dominated the proceedings amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 50.26 points, as the index moved from 2,672.81 to 2,723.07 points.
The overall turnover stood at 394,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 232,300 shares. Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (86) closed in positive territory, 48 landed in minus column, whereas one company remained pegged to its previous levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 185,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 35,500 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 125,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 62,100 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 25,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 51,000 shares.
